Parker Isaac is a medical technology start-up working to enhance the care of cancer patients by improving the processing of cancer specimens, starting with our flagship product the Adipress. This novel product automates a manual technique critical to isolating and more thoroughly evaluating lymph nodes in surgical colon specimens. Following a successful launch in March '20 at USCAP, a major international pathology conference, Parker Isaac is growing an early adopter customer base at top cancer centers.
It all started with a broken motorboat engine, when two friends were drawn together by a shared passion for entrepreneurship and mechanical design. After fixing the engine together, Alex and Charles wanted to fix an even bigger problem, something that would make a difference in people’s lives.
Inspired by his mother, a pathologist in New York, Charles looked into the need to automate tissue preparation—and the idea for the Adipress was born.
In 2019, Parker Isaac participated in Class 5 of the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator, a prestigious innovation program for health tech startups that provided funding and access to mentorship from leading clinicians and healthcare executives.
